What will my dog need to hike?

Nothing but a love of fun & fresh air, Hike Doggie will provide all the rest! We supply all the necessary equipment for your dog to have a super enjoyable hike; leash, harness, etc. We also supply endless fresh water, treats and love during our hikes!

How can I book appointments?

It’s convenient & easy! When you enroll your dog in our weekly hike outings, we will establish a recurring day(s) of the week schedule based on our neighborhood service schedule.

How do I pay?

We have a simple automated process that makes paying easy. Once your dog has been scheduled for their first outing, we collect your payment information and store it in our safe and secure system. You can update or change your payment information at any time.

What Does My Doggie Do On A Hike?

When we arrive at our doggie destination, we hit the trail to enjoy a hike style that suites your dog! During our two-hour on-leash hike, your dog will get to sniff flowers, stretch their legs, enjoy lots of fresh air and just be a dog outdoors!

How long will my dog be on a hike?

A typical outing is 4 hours of fun & companionship from the time your doggie is picked up to the time your dog is returned safely to your home. Once your dog’s paws hit the trail, we hike for two hours.

Do You Hike All Breeds?

Our mission is to make every dog a Hike Doggie! based on your doggie’s details & our Get To Know process we will establish if Hike Doggie and your dog are a good fit.

Where will my dog be hiking?

We hike doggies in the Denver Front Range. JeffCo Open Space as 28 parks with nearly 230 miles of trails. Boulder Mountain Parks and other trail systems provide endless hiking options.

What forms do I need to fill out?

We don’t like forms. Our enrollment process is simple. We come to your home and visit you & your dog to get all your doggie’s details. You sign a liability waiver and provide us with a key to your home (we’re bonded). We are ready to hit the trails!

What are the cancelation terms?

As a Hike Doggie client, you are not locked into a contract. We’re confident that you’ll love our convenient door-to-door regularly scheduled hiking service and your dog will love the companionship, exercise and outdoor fun!

Will My Dog Hike Year Round?

Absolutely! People & dogs enjoy the gorgeous Colorado trails all year round. Spring brings raindrops, flowers & rainbows. Summer offers butterflies & breezes. Autumn is filled with crunchy leaves & new scents. Winter – Yay Snow!

How many dogs in a Hike Group?

The Hike Group maximum is 4 dogs per Pro Hiker. We strive to create hiking groups of similar speed, temperament and size whenever possible. Each Hike Doggie Bus can accommodate up to 12 dogs comfortably.

 

Does someone have to be home?

Nope! At Hike Doggie, we’re all about convenience! During our Get To Know meeting we will get all your doggie’s pick up & drop off information and a copy of your house key. Rest assured we are fully bonded and insured.

HOW DOES MY DOG GET TO & FROM THE TRAILHEAD?


The highlight of your dog’s week begins when we stop by to pick them up in our Hike Bus, custom designed just for dogs. Each dog will enjoy a safe and cozy ride in their very own ‘Zen Den’. After the hike, we make sure to wash off any trail dust, pat them dry, and ensure they are squeaky clean before we hop on the Hike Bus to head home.
