Friendly Reminders Before Bringing Your Furry Friend to a Patio

  1. Leash Up: Always keep your dog on a leash to ensure they stay safe and close to you. It also helps maintain a calm atmosphere for everyone.
  2. Hydrate: Bring a portable water bowl or use the provided water stations to keep your pup hydrated, especially on warm days.
  3. Bring Essentials: Pack waste bags, treats, and a small blanket or towel for your dog to sit on to make them comfortable.
  4. Mind Manners: Ensure your dog is well-behaved and comfortable around other dogs and people. A well-mannered pup makes for a pleasant experience for everyone.
  5. Check Policies: Some patios have specific rules for dogs. Check the establishment’s guidelines beforehand to avoid any surprises.
  6. Watch the Weather: On hot days, look for shaded spots to keep your dog cool. On colder days, consider bringing a doggy sweater or blanket.
  7. Know Your Dog’s Limits: Not all dogs enjoy crowded or noisy places. Be mindful of your pup’s comfort and be ready to leave if they seem stressed or anxious.
  8. Respect Other Guests: Remember that not all patrons may be dog lovers. Keep your dog close and be considerate of others’ space and comfort.

By following these friendly reminders, you and your dog can have a fun and enjoyable time at any dog-friendly patio!
