Nothing but a love of fun & fresh air! Send your dog with their collar, and Hike Doggie will provide all the rest! We supply all the necessary equipment for your dog to have a super enjoyable hike; leash, harness, etc. We also supply endless fresh water, treats and love during our hikes!

Tap "Get Started" on our home page to book your first hike! When you enroll your dog in our weekly hike outings, we will establish a recurring day(s) of the week schedule based on our neighborhood service schedule. It's simple and easy!

We have a secure, fully automated process that makes paying easy. Once your dog has been scheduled for their first outing, we collect your payment information and store it in our safe system. You can update or change your payment information at any time.

When we arrive at our doggie destination, we hit the trail to enjoy a hike style that suits your dog! During our two-hour, on-leash hike, your dog will get to sniff flowers, stretch their legs, enjoy lots of fresh air and just be a dog outdoors! On a full hiking day, your dog will experience a door-to-door excursion complete with a cozy ZenDen for transport times, lots of water and treats, and even a luxurious clean-up before heading home.

A typical outing is 4 hours of fun & companionship from the time your doggie is picked up to the time your dog is returned safely to your home. Once your dog’s paws hit the trail, we hike for two hours.

Our mission is to make every dog a Hike Doggie! Based on your doggie’s details & our Get To Know process, we will determine if Hike Doggie is a good fit for your sweet pup.

We hike doggies in Denver's beautiful Front Range. JeffCo Open Space contains 28 parks with nearly 230 miles of amazing Colorado mountain trails! Each day your dog hikes, you'll get a personal note directly from their hiker with a story about the day. You'll also get an album full of fun photos, so you can see the places your adventurous pup gets to explore.

We don’t like forms. Our enrollment process is simple. We come to your home and visit you & your dog to get all your doggie’s details. You sign a liability waiver and provide us with a key to your home (we’re bonded). We are ready to hit the trails!

As a Hike Doggie client, you are not locked into a contract. We’re confident that you’ll love our convenient door-to-door, regularly scheduled hiking service and your dog will ADORE the companionship, exercise and outdoor fun!

At Hike Doggie, our maximum is 4 dogs per hiker. We strive to create hiking groups of similar speed, temperament and size whenever possible. Each Hike Doggie bus can accommodate up to 12 dogs comfortably! We cannot stress enough the importance of our hiker's training in courses like Wilderness First Aid for Dogs and Emergency Situations. Having a maximum of 4 dogs per hiker allows your dog to be showered in attention and care through their excursion.

DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO BE HOME?

Nope! At Hike Doggie, we’re all about convenience! During our Get To Know meeting we will get all your dog's pick up & drop off information and a copy of your house key. You relax, and your pup enjoys an exciting day. Rest assured we are fully bonded and insured.

Absolutely! People & dogs enjoy gorgeous Colorado trails all year round. Spring brings raindrops, flowers & rainbows. Summer offers butterflies & breezes. Autumn is filled with crunchy leaves & new scents. Winter – Yay Snow! We take pride in safely hiking dogs in all seasons. 

Can my dog become a Hike Doggie if he/she has behavioral issues?

Can my dog become a Hike Doggie if he/she has behavioral issues?

All Hike Doggies must meet the following requirements to ensure all our dogs remain safe and have an awesome hike:

*Be neutered & spayed

*Be well socialized around other doggies

*Be non-aggressive or reactive towards other; dogs, people, wildlife & other trail users (runners, bikes, etc)

*Be well mannered while hiking on a leash

*Be relaxed & calm during the ride to & from the trailhead in their Zen Den (comfortable individual travel space) aboard our Hike Doggie buses

*Be current on their vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Leptospirosis)

If your doggie does not meet these requirements, we recommend neutering/spaying (if you are not planning on breeding your cutie) & do targeted training in any area where he/she may need some help so they can enjoy an enriched lifestyle full of outdoor fun with friends!
