Megan & Harry Maalouf
Franchise Owner, Hike Doggie Treasure Valley

We’re Megan and Harry Maalouf—partners in life, business, and now, adventure.

After a decade of calling the Treasure Valley home, we’ve built our lives in this incredible community, raising two kids, spoiling our own dogs, and learning firsthand what it means to balance busy schedules with a deep love for animals.

Before diving into business ownership, Megan spent years in the corporate world specializing in human resources, while Harry served the community through a career in law enforcement. While we found deep purpose in those roles, we felt called to serve our community in a new way—one that blends our passion for animals with creating meaningful connections and opportunities for the people around us. That leap led us into the pet services world, where we built a mobile pet grooming business based on trust, professionalism, and a shared love for the furry family member.

Hike Doggie Treasure Valley is an extension of everything we believe in: health, happiness, and connection—for both dogs and the people who love them. We’re proud to bring an exceptional level of care and structure to this new venture, combining our backgrounds in service, leadership, and business to create something truly special for local pets and pet parents.

When we’re not on the trails or running the business, you’ll find us enjoying Idaho’s natural beauty with our own dogs, cheering at our kids’ games, or finding new ways to give back to this community we love.

We’re honored to serve the Treasure Valley and can’t wait to meet you and your pup!

All Hike Doggies must meet the following requirements to ensure all our doggies remain safe and have an awesome hike:

  • Be neutered or spayed
  • Be well socialized around other doggies
  • Be non-aggressive or reactive towards; dogs, people, wildlife & other trail users (runners, bikes, etc)
  • Be well mannered while hiking on a leash
  • Be relaxed & calm during the ride to & from the trailhead in their Zen Den (comfortable individual travel space) aboard our Hike Doggie buses
  • Be current on their vaccines (Rabies, Canine Influenza, Distemper, Bordetella, Leptospirosis)
  • Be at least 6 months old or 4 months old if leash trained

If your doggie does not meet these requirements, we recommend neutering/spaying (if you are not planning on breeding your cutie) & do targeted training in any area where he/she may need some help so they can enjoy an enriched lifestyle full of outdoor fun with friends!
