Hike Doggie Franchise Opportunity: 3 Pillars of Success

By: wondercrateAdmin

At Hike Doggie, we’re committed to offering you support you can count on. As your trusted partner, we’re fond of saying that you’ll be in business for yourself, but never by yourself. Like most franchise opportunities, Hike Doggie requires no prior pet industry knowledge or experience to become a franchisee. And it’s also true that many new owners are running a business of their own for the first time. A key part of our strategy to ensure your success as a franchisee are what we call the “Three Pillars of Success,” which are comprised of Training, Support, and Marketing. In this edition of the Hike Doggie blog, we’re going to take a closer look at what you can expect from us in these crucial areas. It begins with the role of your very own franchise business consultant.

Experience You Can Count On

When you are awarded a Hike Doggie franchise, one of the first things that happens after the agreement is signed comes when we assign you a dedicated franchise business consultant. Functioning as the primary liaison between you and Hike Doggie’s corporate office, this contact will be your point person whose sole objective is to help you in the following ways:

  • Promote all guidance, training, and ongoing support, allowing you to launch and maintain a smooth running operation with clearly stated goals
  • Consult, manage, and coach you up until you reach your target market of 60 dogs per week (Monday-Friday)
  • Ensure you’re on track to meet your benchmark revenue and profitability goals
  • Oversee your operation to ensure that it maintains all Hike Doggie standards and compliance

Hike Doggie Franchise Opportunity with Our 3 Pillars of Success

Now, let’s review Hike Doggie’s three Pillars of Success…

Pillar No. 1 – Comprehensive Training

You can’t run a successful Hike Doggie operation without proper training, and our program is as comprehensive as possible. Our training program involves hands-on instruction designed to help you understand the nuances of dog behavior, group hiking management, vehicle safety, and how to provide superior customer experiences at all times. Once you’ve learned all of these basic principles, Hike Doggie will still be there to evaluate and measure your ongoing progress against real benchmarks. And then there’s our cutting-edge technology for you to experience. You’ll receive thorough training on utilizing our proprietary “Pup Portal” software platform, which includes a dashboard for tracking and monitoring activities such as bookings, scheduling, client management, social media posting, and real-time communications.

Pillar No. 2 – “Barketing” Outreach

With guidance from your personal franchise business consultant, you’ll also work closely to tailor your marketing outreach so that it successfully reaches your desired target market – dog owners in your community. You’ll discuss strategies that best align with this audience and set programs in motion designed to fill up your weekly calendar of dog hikes. We aim for 60 dogs per week (per one mobile vehicle). Our marketing program is meant to raise brand awareness and drive incremental business growth. We accomplish this by leveraging the power and reach of social media, positive online reviews, SEO, and forging local partnerships. This is how our franchisees attract clients and build trust in the Hike Doggie brand. You’ll receive consultations on convenient pick-up services, local community events, and our custom Marketing Launch Kit, ensuring you’ll be set up for success from day one.

Pillar No. 3 – Continual Support

Once your training is complete and your marketing strategies are in place, your dedicated franchise business consultant will be there for you to ensure all areas of operation are running smoothly. This point of contact is always available to answer questions, provide advice, and get you the answers you need to run a successful Hike Doggie franchise. Simply put, It’s their job to mentor you to long-term success.

At Hike Doggie, we take our three pillars of success very seriously, as together they build the foundation of knowledge and support you’ll need to run a successful franchise of your own. We’re also always open to feedback and suggestions on how we can improve these areas, as there’s no better opinion than that of someone who has already experienced our training, marketing, and support initiatives. If there’s one thing Hike Doggie appreciates, it’s continuous improvement and efficiency.

If you’re contemplating an entrepreneurial future of your own, we sincerely hope you’ll have the opportunity to experience our three pillars of success for yourself. And there’s no time like the present to get started!

All Hike Doggies must meet the following requirements to ensure all our doggies remain safe and have an awesome hike:

  • Be neutered or spayed
  • Be well socialized around other doggies
  • Be non-aggressive or reactive towards; dogs, people, wildlife & other trail users (runners, bikes, etc)
  • Be well mannered while hiking on a leash
  • Be relaxed & calm during the ride to & from the trailhead in their Zen Den (comfortable individual travel space) aboard our Hike Doggie buses
  • Be current on their vaccines (Rabies, Canine Influenza, Distemper, Bordetella, Leptospirosis)
