Dog hiking on trail

Why Pet Parents are Choosing Hike Doggie Over Traditional Dog Walking Services

Why Pet Parents are Choosing Hike Doggie Over Traditional DogDog walking is old news—pet parents want more. They want their dogs to be engaged, healthy, and fulfilled.

That’s why adventure-based pet services are on the rise, and why Hike Doggie is leading the pack.

Unlike standard dog walking services, Hike Doggie franchisees take dogs on group hikes in beautiful natural settings. This not only gives dogs the physical exercise they need but also stimulates their minds and satisfies their natural instincts. Studies show that dogs who engage in regular outdoor activities have lower stress levels, fewer behavioral issues, and an overall improved quality of life. It’s pet care that goes beyond the basics, and pet owners love it.

For franchisees, this means an exciting and lucrative opportunity in the booming pet industry. With pet owners willing to pay a premium for quality care, Hike Doggie provides a scalable business model that keeps customers coming back. Whether it’s a busy professional who wants their pup to experience the outdoors or an adventure-loving pet owner who sees the value in guided hikes, the market for our services is constantly expanding.

And the best part? Hike Doggie offers unmatched support for franchisees, from marketing assistance to operational training, ensuring that you’re set up for success from the very beginning. With flexible hours, strong support, and a business model built for growth, Hike Doggie is changing the game for both pets and entrepreneurs.

If you’re ready to invest in a franchise that’s anything but ordinary, Hike Doggie is waiting for you. Get ready to hit the trail and build the business of your dreams!

All Hike Doggies must meet the following requirements to ensure all our doggies remain safe and have an awesome hike:

  • Be neutered or spayed
  • Be well socialized around other doggies
  • Be non-aggressive or reactive towards: dogs, people, wildlife & other trail users (runners, bikes, etc)
  • Be well mannered while hiking on a leash
  • Be relaxed & calm during the ride to & from the trailhead in their Zen Den (comfortable individual travel space) aboard our Hike Doggie buses
  • Be current on their vaccines (Rabies, Canine Influenza, Distemper, Bordetella, Leptospirosis)
  • Be at least 6 months old or 4 months old if leash trained

If your doggie does not meet these requirements, we recommend neutering/spaying (if you are not planning on breeding your cutie) & do targeted training in any area where he/she may need some help so they can enjoy an enriched lifestyle full of outdoor fun with friends!
