Meet the Pack Leaders: Franchise Owners Phoenix & Gary
Hike Doggie Denver East is proudly locally owned by Phoenix O’Hara & Gary Schwartz, passionate dog lovers and longtime Hike Doggie superfans. Their journey with us started over six years ago as loyal clients with their sweet boy Beauregard. Phoenix’s own perfect boy, Creasy also spent time with the Hike Doggie pack. And now, their newest recruit—Santino, a Hiker-in-the-making with puppy energy and big mountain dreams.
From the moment their first pup climbed aboard the Hike Doggie bus, Phoenix and Gary knew they’d found something special. That deep love for the brand (and firsthand experience as clients!) inspired them to bring this experience to even more dogs and dog parents in Aurora.
Phoenix actually launched her first pet walking business when she was just eight years old—complete with hand-made yellow business cards—and now, she and Gary are living their dream as Hike Doggie franchise owners, delivering outdoor joy to Colorado’s four-legged adventurers.
