Outdoor Dog Daycare in Boise? Hike Doggie Treasure Valley

Hike Doggie Treasure Valley Brings Mountain Adventures

Big news is hitting the trails in Boise, Meridian, and beyond—we’re officially opening in Treasure Valley! Say hello to Hike Doggie Treasure Valley, your dog’s new favorite adventure and the only professional dog hiking service in the area! Led by the passionate pet-loving duo, Megan and Harry Maalouf, this new franchise brings fresh air, exercise, and mountain-sized love to pups across the Treasure Valley.

Meet the Pack Leaders: Megan & Harry 🐶❤️

Megan and Harry are no strangers to the local pet scene. Long-time Treasure Valley residents and proud pet parents themselves, they’ve already earned the trust of hundreds of families through their successful Aussie Pet Mobile grooming service in the Boise area (check them out here). Now, they’re hitting the trails with Hike Doggie, bringing their trademark care, professionalism, and heart into a whole new adventure.

Their story? After building a life in Boise, raising two kids, and serving their community—Megan in HR and Harry in law enforcement—they followed their passion for animals into pet services. The leap from grooming to hiking was a natural one, combining their love for dogs, wellness, and the great Idaho outdoors.

Their big blue Hike Doggie bus has been completed and is ready to get rolling through Idaho! Check out their Treasure Valley bus on Instagram.

At Hike Doggie, we don’t do regular walks—we do real hikes! Our team picks up your pup, brings them on a small-group mountain adventure, and returns them happy, tired, and full of joy. Think of it as dog daycare, but outdoors and on the move.

We specialize in:

Structured mountain hikes around the Boise Foothills, Eagle, and Meridian

Group socialization with other happy, adventure-loving pups

Professional, reliable service from trained dog hikers

Peace of mind for busy dog parents who want the best for their furry companions

Whether you’re working long hours, juggling kids’ schedules, or just want to give your dog a midweek adventure, Hike Doggie Treasure Valley has your tail covered.

All Hike Doggies must meet the following requirements to ensure all our doggies remain safe and have an awesome hike:

  • Be neutered or spayed
  • Be well socialized around other doggies
  • Be non-aggressive or reactive towards: dogs, people, wildlife & other trail users (runners, bikes, etc)
  • Be well mannered while hiking on a leash
  • Be relaxed & calm during the ride to & from the trailhead in their Zen Den (comfortable individual travel space) aboard our Hike Doggie buses
  • Be current on their vaccines (Rabies, Canine Influenza, Distemper, Bordetella, Leptospirosis)
  • Be at least 6 months old or 4 months old if leash trained

If your doggie does not meet these requirements, we recommend neutering/spaying (if you are not planning on breeding your cutie) & do targeted training in any area where he/she may need some help so they can enjoy an enriched lifestyle full of outdoor fun with friends!
